"Hypnotherapy was definitely the last thing I thought would help when I suffered from a debilitating phobia/battle with OCD this summer, but Jason was the one professional that really helped remove my obsessions and anxiety. I highly recommend him to anyone who is needlessly suffering." - Karen K., TX
"Me 'I can’t be hypnotized, either too smart or too dumb.' Having said that; I just completed my fifth session with Jason. Never really felt 'under.' Here is where it gets confusing; I am now able to drive over bridges, dams and even under tunnels without going into a full on panic attack. Not talking about feeling stressed, or overwhelmed. My panic attacks were (past tense) really simple. I am gonna pass out, die and WILL end up driving off this bridge or dam. I come by my phobias honestly. I was hung off the highest bridges and dams as a child. To travel by car I would use google maps to review every mile of any trip to make sure there were no large bridges, dams or tunnels along the route. If there were, I would reroute or just not go. Even letting my wife drive was not enough.
This had been my life since I was 23. I am now 61. Since the hypnotherapy began last month; I have driven over at least two dozen bridges, under a few tunnels and even walked by a dam without fear. My life has changed. Proof is in the pudding. I couldn’t do things before that I can do now.
The parts I found the most interesting are; how little Jason needs to know about your 'issues.' Maybe one minute of dialog or text. He actually needed more info about my favorite things to do and places I like to travel than my story. Pretty much the opposite of most therapies. He took me on some amazing trips. The lengths Jason goes to detail the excursions are amazing. Maui, London, The Outer Banks, tours of Washington DC (my hometown). I felt like I was in these places. He had me construct all these different scenarios in my mind. Even got to hug my deceased Father. Remember, I am the guy that can’t be hypnotized. Now, besides being able to drive without consulting Google maps. I feel less consumed by fear through-out my day, and generally find that I am riding a little looser in the saddle. That is a really nice side benefit.
One of the fears I had going in was being a little too friendly with the structures themselves after the therapy. I didn’t want to end up hanging off bridges or kissing dams in my spare time. Jason made it crystal clear. You will still have respect and awareness; including your own natural self-preservation when your around the items that we worked on. I have found that to be the case.
As far as my future. After retirement my wife and I are going to rent an RV for a few months and drive across the country. Unthinkable until working with Jason. Oh. Did I mention, we did all the sessions via Zoom. Now I see the beauty in the engineering and the amazing views from being on top of these huge structures. Not pending death. What a transformation!"
